Our Story
Founded in 2014 by Dr. Adam Karim, Call Of Humanity began as a local relief effort during the Sylhet floods. Over a decade, we've grown into a nationally recognized NGO with 6 regional offices and partnerships with major international organizations.

Md Zihadur Rahman
Md Zihadur Rahman is the founder of Call of Humanity, previously known as Arter Ahobane, a social welfare organization based in Bangladesh dedicated to building a healthier, more compassionate society. Since founding the organization in 2017, he has led initiatives ranging from free medical campaigns and health awareness drives to disaster relief support for underserved communities. Under his leadership, Call of Humanity is working toward a society where children with autism are embraced rather than sidelined — one where support, understanding, and inclusion replace stigma. The organization is also expanding its focus to environmental responsibility, recognizing that a healthy community depends on a healthy planet. Beyond his humanitarian work, Zihadur brings an engineer's mindset to social change — currently working in SCADA systems at DESCO, with a background in teaching and applied research. He founded Call of Humanity out of a simple conviction: that no one should face illness, disability, or disaster alone, and that grassroots action can close the gaps institutions often leave behind.
